Having a few good sauce recipes will help you make a a possible bland and boring meal into something yummy There are a few stocks and sauces that you MUST learn to make first. Why? Because you will use them as a base for many other sauces. Understanding how to make a basic stock is also very important. These stocks and sauces are very simple to someone who already knows how to make them, but if you're a beginner it may seem a little daunting. But don't panic! Sauces are easier to make than you may think. There are benefits to knowing how to make a good sauce... You will never have to buy those salt loaded packet mixes again! And... you'll not only save money but your sauces will taste better too. Double bonus!
